Partnerships & collaboration
Strong partnerships let us protect intellectual property, share risk and move proven models across borders — from research labs to roads.
University collaboration
We partner with academic institutions to develop and protect intellectual property, then share the resulting revenue — drawing on experience collaborating with leading research universities, including MIT and Harvard. Alongside this, we are building relationships with industry leaders such as BASF and Oriel and pursuing grant programmes to support the work.
Collaboration model
Joint ventures
To roll out EV charging quickly, we are forming a joint venture with a partner manufacturing facility in Kraków, Poland — deploying chargers across both Ireland and Poland and drawing on existing grant programmes. We expect to explore further grant opportunities and early-stage equity contributions within the next three to six months.
Venture outline
The WTP group
WTP holds an equity stake in WTP Carin and in each of the companies below — a group spanning waste-to-product systems, clean and synthetic fuels, e-mobility and charging.
A Canadian “Waste-To-Product” developer and systems integrator delivering turnkey municipal solid waste diversion plants. Working with key OEMs and waste-diversion specialists, WTP Technologies converts municipal solid waste into energy and green products — a shared mission to build a zero-waste, zero-emissions economy.
wtptechnologies.com →Synthetic and low-carbon fuel technology that complements the biogas and energy our digesters recover, broadening the range of clean products we can bring to market.
Partners synthecfuels.com → MilesGo E-mobility · CanadaA Canadian e-mobility company whose charging and grant experience informs how we adapt North American models for Irish and European roads.
Partners milesgo.ca → Amik Technologies EV & energy software platform · IndiaAn India-built software platform for electric mobility and energy that runs the whole value chain from a single login. Where most rivals tackle only charging, fleet or financing, Amik unifies nine products — charging, fleet, energy, financing, a driver app, CRM, HR, an AI call centre and EV rentals — on one shared data layer. Hardware-neutral, OCPP-compliant and AI-first, it serves charge-point operators, fleets, OEMs, energy players and lenders.
